ArchSD is dedicated to building a more sustainable city by developing and maintaining public facilities for the general public with our industry partners, user departments and stakeholders. With this commitment, ArchSD is determined to integrate social considerations in our projects to improve the quality of urban living through a variety of means, including providing green, high-quality and accessible public spaces that encourage activities and facilitate interactions between members of the community, allowing the public to enjoy drops of leisure moments and get a respite from the fast-paced city life.

Quality Green and Sustainable Buildings

To realise this goal, we have adopted the passive and active design approaches as our key strategies for designing sustainable buildings as follows.

Passive Design Approaches

We also strive to optimise a building’s interaction with its local microclimate through careful planning, site orientation and material selection.

Active Sustainable Building Design Approaches

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and water-efficient devices

We also closely collaborate with our contractors and industry partners, aiming at implementing a wide array of green building initiatives and promoting sustainability across multiple industries. ArchSD underlines its strategic approach to sustainability by adopting the BEAM Plus New Buildings for new projects. As of the end of 2022, we obtained BEAM plus (New Buildings) certification for 48 new buildings, BEAM Plus Interior certification for 4 offices and BEAM Plus Existing Building (Selective Scheme) for 3 buildings.
