Reprovisioning of Civil Aid Service Headquarters & Fire Services Department Facilities

Description

The project is a joint development located at West Kowloon and to the north of Kowloon Station to provide a brand new headquarters for the Civil Aid Service and a real fire fighting training facilities for the Fire Services Department.

The New CAS Headquarters building is to reprovision the following existing facilities : i) CAS Kowloon Training Centre & FSD Rescue Training Centre at 204 Argyle Street; ii) CAS Headquarters at 100 Caroline Hill; and iii) CAS Cadet Training Centre at 23 Hok Yuen Street.

It also provides administration headquarters, operational and training base for the volunteers and cadets of the CAS.

The FSD Rescue Training Centre provides modern and safe facilities for FSD on-duty training of the firemen to enhance their fire fighting skill and effectiveness of performance under smoky, hot and humid conditions of simulated real fire scenarios.
