With the aid of advanced information technology, we can use a computerized system to store the historical repair records in an effective manner. The valuable information stored in the computerized system can be retrieved for:
planning suitable preventive maintenance program;- conducting cost analysis; and
- using as a reference for future design.。
Computerization is also helpful in monitoring and tracking of repair works so that we can follow up on outstanding repair works and ensure timely completion of them.
