Low VOC Substances

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are organic chemical compounds that easily vaporize into the air and cause air pollution and smog. VOCs are found from a wide array of building products such as paints and lacquers, paint strippers, cleaning supplies, pesticides, adhesives, sealants, and other building furnishings. Some of them may have adverse effects to our health.

The Air Pollution Control (Volatile Organic Compounds) Regulation controls the VOC contents of various products. Low VOC paints, sealants and adhesive are now commonly used in building projects.
